Sports Mama ;)

The first thing I learned about being a Sports Mama was there was a huge learning curve and a lot of trial and error as to:

  • What to wear…for each season of each sport 😶…and weather
  • What to take
  • What to expect

This is likely because I was never an athlete myself.

Fall…spring…in both we have seriously varied weather.

A potential Sports Mama Capsule, for me, would feature:

  • Fitness leggings – they dry quickly and breathe well….BLACK
  • Thin warm jacket
  • Heavy warm coat
  • Thermal henleys
  • Sturdy stain resistant sneaks
  • Waterproof boots
  • OTK boots 😍
  •  Jeggings
  • Tunic length tops
  • Layering basics
  • Scarf or two
  • Hats…ball cap…straw…beanie
  • Thick socks
  • Team tees if working
  • Sunglasses
  • Backpack (clutch or wristlet inside)
  • Poncho (in backpack)

I try to segregate these things and limit them to semi-loved items. Pollen, mud, weeds and other outdoor elements mean increased wear and tear.   After four years of this, I think I have it down pat.🎒

No new needs presently = no necessary shopping 🙂
